Saturday, April 27
11am-3pm

Community Superhero Saturday is Lakeshore’s Spring Carnival for the entire community. We will have carnival games, food, crafts, two bounce-houses, horses, baby goats, music, face-painting, dancing, and more!

Come celebrate the heroes in our Lakeshore and San Francisco community! Featuring: our awesome teachers, staff, children's librarians from SFPL, police officers, park rangers, Horsemen's Association, goat keepers, beekeepers, and homing pigeons!

Lakeshore students: Spend your Superhero Bucks on games and food!
One Superhero Buck equals $1! All-inclusive Superhero Passports are good for games, food, and activities!

Most games are 1 ticket per player and Passports can be shared between family members.

Two Superhero Passports are available:
$10 Passport buys 15 tickets
$20 Passport includes 35 tickets

Food: This year we’ll be cooking out! For $3 (3 tickets or Superhero Bucks) enjoy your choice of halal burgers, kosher hot dogs, vegan burgers or tofu dogs! For $5 (tickets or Superhero Bucks) add chips or fruit and a drink!

Participate: Help make our carnival SUPER! Sign up to volunteer and lend equipment online bit.ly/ls19shs or email shs@LakeshoreElementary.org. We are looking for shade tents and gas grills!

Families: Please help make and run your class’s activity! For ideas, see suggested games/activities here. We are especially looking for someone who enjoys fabric crafts to set up the cape booth. We already have the fabric!

Let's come together as a community to celebrate being a part of this school and city!
Lakeshore Greening Day
THIS Sat. April 6 (10am-2pm)

Join us with family and friends for a work day at Lakeshore! We'll garden, paint clean, etc.!
Bike & Roll to School Day
Tuesday, April 16

Walk, bike, carpool, or take transit to school! These alternatives are good for our bodies, communities and environment. They also can be a great way to sneak in some family time on the way to school. There will be "bike trains" coming from the Outer Sunset and the Central Sunset. The route is easily reached by multiple MUNI lines. Email Laura Batie for details.

Fun activities and prizes! Check out sfsaferoutes.org for more information about this city-wide event. Please sign up at http://bit.ly/ls19wbr if you can help out.
