Kutumb is raising money for 1 year's rent and capital expenditures for a
new Qissagadh Active Library and Cultural Centre. We are searching in Delhi and
Noida. This space will be large enough to accommodate our library as well as
serve as a workshop space for Dhamaa Chaukdi training-of-trainer sessions,
theatre classes and workshops, Indradhanush language classes, and regular Qissebaaz storytelling sessions. We will also use the space to stage plays and performances from a variety of theatre troupes and non-profits.
Total Cost: 10 lakh (70,000 rupees per month in rent, 1.6 lakh capital expenditure [shelving, computers, stage lights, and other outfitting]).
-Goal of Life session in Ali Vihar, led by our peer coaches, Jagdish, Pankaj, and Ritika. To explore how conflict happens on the field, freeze frames and role-plays were used and then discussed by the players-an example of the way Kutumb embeds life-skills in our sessions.
