Food for Fines
The Harrison Township Public Library in partnership with Gleaners Community Food Bank is hosting a Food for Fines drive. From Monday, April 1-Tuesday, April 30th, you can exchange canned goods for the late fees on one item. Please note that only late fees will be waived. You may not exchange canned goods for replacement costs of lost or damaged materials. Bring in non-perishable, unopened canned goods and we’ll waive the late fees for any item on your account. The Food for Fines Drive is a great time to return overdue materials. You’ll help both your community and your library! While this event waives late fees for those who owe, participation is open to everyone. If you’d like to donate food to Gleaner’s Community Food Bank, we welcome your donation.  All donations accepted during normal business hours. Please do not leave food donations in the outdoor book drop.
