Building the PTA Budget is a four-step process:
- The school makes a support ask
- The PTA develops their operating budget, including the school ask
- The PTA surveys families for their input
- The PTA approves their budget at a general membership meeting
The final budget for the 2019-2020 school year will be presented for an approval vote at the PTA General Membership meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00PM, right before the PTA-supported Internet Safety presentation.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BALLARD HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS!
|
|
We're excited to announce that the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has awarded Ballard High School with a Support Music Merit Award (SMMA).
A total of 98 schools were chosen nationwide, and Ballard High School is the only school in Washington state to receive this award.
A SMMA Award recognizes an individual school for its commitment to and support of music education. The award also recognizes and celebrates the commitment of school administrators, community leaders, teachers and parents who believe in music education and are working to ensure that it is part of a well-rounded education for all children.
Many former Lawton students participate in the Ballard High School Performing Arts Program, and Ms. Cooper wanted to share this exciting news!
