Dear Band Family -
FINAL FUNDRAISER: April 12th, 13th & 14th
Our FINAL fundraiser for this school year will be April 12, 13 & 14th at the PAC; we have the opportunity to run concessions for a 3-day dance competition with the potential to make a good amount of money for the band…organizers are expecting over 2500 attendees so we need LOTS of volunteers to pull this off! Please see the links to sign up to donate concession items OR to volunteer… Students and parents welcome!
End-of-Year BAND BANQUET: Thursday, April 25th 6-9pm
Our end-of-year band banquet is @ Creekside, across from the Salt Lick. Beautiful venue, delicious food, a candy bar, photo booth, DJ and lots of fun recognition of our SENIOR BAND MEMBERS! Every person attending the banquet MUST purchase a meal ticket; DEADLINE TO PURCHASE IS APRIL 15th; meal tickets will not be sold at the door. *Please note that this is NOT a fundraiser…the cost of the ticket pays for the rental of the venue. (Seniors will have their meal paid for by the boosters but still must go online to choose their meal)
Also for the banquet, we need ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF SENIORS to email 3 photos of their senior to haysbandboosterspresident@gmail.com (1 baby pic, 1 middle school pic, 1 senior pic) DEADLINE IS APRIL 15th.
BAND BOOSTER SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS: Due April 26th
Band Booster Senior Scholarship applications are available now either via the website, link below or hard copy in the band office. DEADLINE IS APRIL 26th – Please turn in completed application to Mrs. Allen OR to band secretary Mrs. Gray.
REBEL RUN 5K: THIS Saturday April 6th
Race registrations are STILL OPEN and volunteer opportunities STILL AVAILABLE!
NEXT BOOSTER MEETING: Tuesday April 2nd @ 6:30pm
Next General Booster Meeting is 4/2/19 in the band hall. One of our new sponsors, Kyle Family & Injury Chiropractic, will be there offering FREE screenings exclusively for our Band Boosters!
EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS:
Booster Executive Board elections for the 2019-2020 school year will take place May 7, 2019; these are elected positions and must be voted on by the general booster membership. We currently have names on the ballot for President, VP-Sponsors, VP-Events, Secretary & Treasurer. If you are interested in adding your name, please let me know.
