Congratulations to our 13-14 girls relay team for setting a new team record: Helen Sparling, Aubrey Swanson, Mia Foulk and Olivia Williams swam 1:04:07 to break the 2010 record of 1:04:13.
Although the final score did not have work out in our favor, all the coaches were incredibly pleased with how our swimmers competed on Saturday against Virginia Hills. So many team members stepped up to the challenge of an up-and-coming team. The time drops were absolutely amazing; in individual events we had an unheard of 79% Season best times!! The team spirit we showed was impressive, beginning with the cheers and skit, followed by everyone on the fence rooting for teammates in the water and finishing up with congratulating Virginia Hills on their win at the end. Let's keep the momentum going with another fun and spirited home meet this week against Camelot!
See you at the pool!
