Dear <<First Name>>,

Greetings from Cynthia Wood Spinner!

It is nice to see sunshine and spring weather.  This time of year I start thinking of cooler projects.  I use thinner yarn or cotton fibers.  Part of that is spinning thinner singles or different fiber more suited for the weather.  When spinning thin yarn or slippery fibers it helps to have the right spindle.  One that is not heavy makes a big difference.  The Twig size is my lightest great for lace weight yarn and slippery fiber.

Often I find the need for a longer shaft and a a bit more weight to the spindle.  Branch size includes a variety of shaft lenghts and weights.
New Branch size top whorl drop spindle is light.  Great for thin spinning but not frog hair lace thin (you need a Twig to spin that thin).  It is number 260 with a Walnut whorl on a Maple 8 3/4" shaft and weighs 0.58 oz.
If you want to spin more fingering or sport weight yarn this branch size is a great choice.  This is spindle number 259 with a Walnut whorl on a Maple 10 1/4" shaft and weighs 0.85 oz.
A heavier Branch size spindle provides the option to spin thicker or ply some thin singles together.  Another Walnut top whorl on a Maple 10" shaft it is number 258 and weighs 1.39 oz.   There are some heavier branch size spindles or you can go to a Trunk size for a thicker shaft.
I enjoy the contrast between the woods in these spindles and enjoyed making each one so different.  They are for sale at the regular branch size price of $79 each.  If you want one just email a reply.  They will be going in the web store soon after you get first chance.
