Good morning, Dragon Band families!
What a great concert last Thursday night! We are constantly amazed at the level of talent throughout the entire band program. Each band put together a wonderful concert. All the best to them as they continue to prepare for UIL over the next few weeks.
Welcome to our newest members! Last Monday we welcomed the incoming freshman parents to the band family at the annual incoming parent meeting. Several of them have already signed up to receive these emails. We are so happy to have you!
The annual Band Olympics hosted by the Band Student Leadership is this coming Friday night (4/5). While the majority of the night is managed by the students, Mr. Mobley has asked for a few Chaperones to help out throughout the night. We've split up the night into 3 hour shifts. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to work the Dell Diamond concessions stands this spring. We need to turn in a final roster for the 4/11 & 4/12 games this week. There are still a number of open shifts for those nights and beyond. If you are able to help, please sign up today so we can have a full stand and maximize our fundraising.

While we have split the games up by section, you can work any night that is convenient. We do still need several TABC certified cashiers for several games. If you are able, please finish your TABC training and sign up today!
This Saturday is the day! We have already received donations from many families and we have several more who have committed to bring their donations on Saturday morning.
Here's what we still need.
- We need several more volunteers to work both shifts on Saturday. Volunteers will help set up, clean up, sell items, answer questions, direct customers, etc. The more help throughout the day the better.
- We need your stuff! We will collect donations on Wednesday 4:30-6PM and on Friday 4:30-7PM. We also would LOVE for you to drop off your donated items the morning of the Garage Sale between 5:30 and 6:30 AM.

This coming Saturday is also our 7th Annual Mattress Sale! Don't forget to spread the word and tell everyone you know about this great opportunity for anyone in the market for a new mattress. Now is the time to get the word out!
The next band booster meeting is Tuesday April 9th at the RRHS Band Hall at 7:30 PM. Among the agenda items for this meeting is the annual vote for board positions. Be sure to add this to your calendar and join us next Tuesday.
