iGEM Ambassadors here. Every year the iGEM Competition draws more teams from all over the world, and we see our alumni community grow and spread. So, as our community has grown, we have also expanded our Ambassador team! The team is working on new projects and creating systems to strengthen existing after iGEM programs. Have you ever wondered what iGEM alumni were up to or missed a meetup?
Last November, we sent 4 iGEMers from India, Germany, Canada, and Slovenia, to attend the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, hosted at Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt as a part of our Delegate Program. Click here to learn how it went.
After iGEM, in collaboration with Ontario Genomics and Genome Alberta, organized an iGEM Poster Showcase at the 2019 Canada Synbio Conference in Toronto. One iGEM team even won peoples choice award, click here to find out who won!

The iGEM alumni at Experiment want come up with a way to help teams gather financial support. No that no matter your team's experience or your age, you can get help with campaign strategy, proposal review, and video support. Not an iGEM team?
Still want to learn how to crowdfund?

Use Experiment as an online platform to discover funding and share scientific research. You can fund a dinosaur fossil excavation, a historical study of medieval monasteries, or an experiment on the International Space Station. If it helps unlock new knowledge, then it can be funded.
