Election of Trustees
Elections for 3 open seats on the Board of Trustees is scheduled for Monday, May 6, 12:00pm-7:00pm. Residents in the Hoag Library service area are encouraged to vote. Profiles for each candidate can be found in the main lobby of the library.

A Look Back at April...
Several Civil War enthusiasts participated in the Civil War Lecture/Performance Series- including GCC professors Tracy Ford and Derek Maxfield of Rudely Stamp'd, musician Mark Jones, SUNY College at Brockport Professor Dr. John Daly, and Orleans County Historian Matthew Ballard.
Various community organizations participated in the library's Día de los Niños/Children's Day event, including the Albion Police Department, Orleans County Emergency Services, Albion Lions Club, and Head Start.
Hoag in the News
Hoag Library participated in the YMCA Healthy Kids Day and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orleans County Seed Starting workshop.
While sorting through the archives, Local History Librarian Delia Robinson found two letters of historical significance: a letter from Susan B. Anthony to the Swan Library and a letter from George Washington to Jacob Morris.
