• We are very pleased to announce that a beautiful pink azalea bush has been planted along the fence line at the end of the grass courts in memory of Ruth Illingworth. A small plaque has been erected alongside it. Please click here for details.
• Wasps:   There have  been a few of these flying around and we have been advised by pest control that this is due to the warmer weather and the "queen" looking for a suitable place to build a nest! In the absence of a nest, there is nothing that can be done.  Nests are white and  start the size of a 2 pence coin and grow from there .... we will of course keep an eye on the situation and if such a construction is identified, take action!

• May Bank Holiday mixed tournament: Join us for a fun mixed tournament on Monday 6th May 2.30 - 4.30pm. £5.00 entry to be paid on account to include tea and scones/cake in the clubhouse afterwards.  Please sign up on events page.
• Our tennis schedule is back to normal next week so please sign up as usual.
• Club Championships 2019 sponsored by NFU Mutual Tunbridge Wells:  the competition should go live on 23 April. We are still accepting junior entries so please complete the form if you are interested in entering any of the junior events or contact James Charman on coaching@twltc.co.uk.  
• Please note that there is a cricket event booked for 23 to 26 April so there will be no parking available at the Nevill Gate car park. Please note that during this time.
• Tunbridge Wells Harriers will be using our changing rooms in the morning from 23 to 26 April so it may be a bit busier in there than usual.
• Winter slam and Snookerball:  deadline extended to 21st April. Please do try and get them played!
• Please keep children off the grass courts - these are strictly for playing members when the grass is open only.
• Sponsorship opportunity:  We are currently looking for a sponsor for the ITF Tournament which starts at the end of July.  This is an international tournament.  If you work for or have links with an organisation that may potentially be interested in hearing more about this opportunity,   please contact the office and we can supply further details of what the sponsorship entails.
• Poker night:  10th May.  Please sign up in the clubhouse.
• Quiz Night:  17th May - sponsored by NFU Mutual Tunbridge Wells.  Tickets £13.50 per person including a curry served by Bhaji Bhaji.   Please sign up on the events page - indivdually or teams of up to 8 people.

• Please could members ensure that they sign in and pay for guests BEFORE GOING ON COURT. £5 per adult and £2 per child. Each guest may only attend TWLTC three times in a one year period.

• We are advised that when the courts are being dragged, members should start right at the back of the court to bring more sand back onto the courts. You should also drag as wide as you can to bring sand in from the edges. Please also drag in a spiral motion. Further details below.

1. Please collect your child from the court 1 gate at the end of the session.

2. Please supervise all younger children not attending the session, particularly in relation to hitting balls onto our grass courts or running on the grass.

3. Please buy your hot dog/burger/pasta pot between 4 and 5pm if possible.

4.Please ensure that your child brings a refillable water bottle with them as we are no longer providing plastic cups.

5. We do have some sun cream available but it would be good if they are already wearing some!
