In deze nieuwsbrief kun je onder andere lezen over het GREEN-team van de KEI-week, de Green Student Bootcamp Challenge van het Green Living Lab, de Plasticvrije Week in eind mei, een blog van een sustainability ambassador en de terugkerende duurzame tips en dilemma's.

KEI-week zoekt GREEN-team

Lijkt het jou leuk om je in te zetten voor een duurzamere KEI-week? Dan is het GREEN-team echt iets voor jou! Met een enthousiast team kijk je met een duurzaam oog naar de evenementen en kom je met tips om de organisatie nog duurzamer te maken. Daarnaast houden jullie het verbruik van de KEI-week bij: denk hierbij aan afval, stroom en water. Het team wordt ondersteund door de Green Office van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Heb je interesse of wil je meer informatie? Stuur dan een mailtje naar secretaris@keiweek.nl.  

Plasticvrije Week

In de laatste week van mei (27 mei - 31 mei) is het weer tijd voor onze Plasticvrije Week! Deze week staat in het teken van de bewustwording van de hoeveelheid plastic die wij in ons alledaagse leven gebruiken en hoe je dit kan verminderen. Ook dit jaar kan je weer meedoen met de plastic challenge en andere toffe activiteiten! De week wordt geopend met een lunchlezing van Nicky Kroon die samen met haar zus bekend is geworden door hun boek ‘Het zero waste project’. In haar lezing gaat zij haar ervaring als ‘zero-waster’ delen en tips geven over hoe jij hiermee aan de slag kan. Perfecte inspiratie voor een leven zonder plastic! Opgeven voor de lezing kan hier.

Duurzame Blog: Voedselverspilling
Voedselverspilling is een groot probleem, maar zoals de meeste milieuproblemen is het ook erg actueel. Hoe kunnen we dit milieuprobleem aanpakken? Lees het hier in de blog van een duurzaamheidsambassadeur!
 

Green Student Bootcamp Challenge
Ga in mei en juni op duurzame tour door Nederland om groene pioniers te ontmoeten, te leren over technologieën vanuit de natuur, om leuke tips te krijgen om je eigen eten te kweken en om gezond eten te koken. Voor meer informatie en het volledige programma, klik hier.

Plastic Free Week

In the last week of May (May 27 - May 31) we will host the Plastic Free Week once again! This week will make people more aware of the amounts of plastic that we use in our daily life and how you can reduce this. Once again you can participate in the plastic challenge and other exciting activities! Nicky Kroon will open the week with a lunch lecture about her (and her sister’s) book ‘Het zero waste project’. She will share her experiences as a ‘zero-waster’ and and give tips on how to approach this. Perfect inspiration for a life without plastic! You can sign up for this lecture here.
