Winter is Coming! 2019 Flu Vaccinations

Winter is around the corner, so it's time to think about your flu vaccinations.

The ‘flu’, or influenza, is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can lead to severe lung infection for people with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Click here to see how you can get your vaccination organised in time for the 2019 flu season.

Re-Loved for Research

Inspired by Marie Kondo, CFWA board member and CF parent Rachael has been on a mission to rid her home of anything that doesn’t ‘spark joy’.

Thinking creatively, Rachael started her initiative called ‘Re-loved for research’, selling the unwanted items to raise funds for cystic fibrosis. So far she has raised over $1,800 for CFWA.

If you have any household items that no longer ‘spark joy’ (such as chinaware, musical instruments, silverware or glassware), you could donate them to Rachael by contacting  the office on events@cfwa.org.au or 08 6457 7333.
