Would you pray with us?

We are praying for many things to turn! 

Two weeks ago our little guy turned breech on us, so.... tomorrow is the day we will finally get to meet him!

Here’s how we are asking our friends and family to pray.

  • Turn, Baby, Turn!! Doctors will attempt a version on Tuesday at 9:00am. They will try to manually force the baby to turn in a head down position, and if they succeed (50% chance), they break Kimberly's water and induce her before he can turn again. 
  • These processes are known to be quite painful so pray for strength and stamina for Kimberly
  • If the baby will not turn, there will be an immediate C-section performed. Pray for safety and speedy healing if this occurs. (having an extended healing period is rather daunting when running such a bustling family life)
  • Our biggest prayer is that this precious child of the covenant will be turned toward Jesus and be a mighty man on the earth who turns many hearts toward the living God! Join us as we pray! 
TURN!!!! We need many things to turn and we ask you to join us in prayer as we ask God! 
It’s back and it’s better than ever. 7 weeks of camp! 50 youth! "Unboring" Jesus saturated fun!!!!!  Please join us in praying that God uses our summer program in great ways to turn the hearts of many community youth back to God while giving them a safe and exciting summer! Please pray for provision. This is our most expensive program ($30k) and we still have quite a bit left to raise to pull this off.

Iverson Support Update
In January we began transitioning off pastoral staff at Perimeter Church to lead Restore Life fulltime.  This means that our support no longer comes through Perimeter and we need to raise support again to sustain this growing family and thriving ministry.

Unless our support account drastically turns around the next two months (we need close to $6k a month in support) we will need to look for other forms of income to sustain us. 

God has been blessing the work here tremendously, and we feel strongly that we are still called to labor in full-time ministry... but during this transition period of our Church plant under Perimeter (where our support came from) merging into Restore Life, our personal support for our family has fallen behind.

We are praying for 50 donors, who believe in God’s calling on our life to minister here, to confirm our calling by joining our support team and giving monthly whatever amount God puts on your heart to give. Would you be one of our 50 "mighty men" who help us perform exploits for the Lord? (2 Sam 23, Daniel 11:32b)

Ministry Updates
Our youth discipleship ministry continues to expand with more and more mentors signing on and more and more youth coming to Christ and entering into holistic discipleship. Pray that God would grow our adult ministry and turn the hearts of fathers in particular back to their kids. 

Two months ago, one of the kids in my group started weeping uncontrollably... through tears he lamented the fact he hadn’t seen his dad in years. We prayed for his father’s heart to be turned back toward God and his kids, and last week the father showed up to take him for Spring break. As we processed his time with his dad this young man couldn't help but thank God for answering his prayer and reuniting him with his father. 
We launched Restoration Studios last year, which God is using in great ways to mentor nearly 30 youth in the community with real audio/video industry skills in a gospel/kingdom environment. My partner, good friend, and awesome hip-hop artist St. Clair is leading the charge on this ministry and doing a phenomenal job. We have formed great relationships with many Christian rappers, producers and artists through this ministry, many of them young in their faith and hungry for discipleship. We have about 15 artists now involved in the ministry and many of them are also now mentors with our various youth programs. It has been exciting to watch God work in their lives, and my pastoral and discipleship ministry toward them has been very active and is bearing fruit. I’ve also picked up my guitar again and am even performing with some of them. I’m writing songs again as well which has been fun and very life-giving. Stay Tuned as the GAPP STARS record label that St. Clair started starts to release more and more music. A lot of it is on iTunes, Spotify and youtube and Lord willing I'll be releasing a few of my songs this year.
St. Clair and I recently launched 4M, a discipleship ministry applying the gospel to these artists lives in the areas of Maker (Knowing God), Mission (understanding your mission), Money (Financial stewardship), and Mate (Christ-centered relationships). The most exciting thing has been diving into God’s Word each week and applying it to our lives and growing in our dependency on God’s Spirit. I am excited about the Kingdom impact this is having here in Atlanta through their influential role as artists.

Thank you for continuing with us on our journey to join Jesus as He restores all things, especially His often forgotten image bearers of our city struggling to recover their dignity and dominion. Your prayers and support continue to be used of God to strengthen us in perseverance and purpose as we seek the City of Peace... here... now... and for the Glory of our powerful and personal Savior and King Jesus.
