live performance featuring Lisa E. Harris (Li Harris) from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Harris is an interdisciplinary artist, performer, and composer. She was classically trained at the Manhattan School of Music in voice and opera. Harris’ work focuses on the energetic relationships between body, land, spirit, and place.

AWCommunity Day, a free event which aims to provide a fun and educational experience centered on the African American existence and the late playwright August Wilson. This family-friendly day features local vendors, artisans, performers and community building at August Wilson Cultural Center.
