Anne-Marie Slaughter

Anne-Marie Slaughter, an alumna of Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, is the President and CEO of New America, a think and action tank dedicated to renewing America in the Digital Age.

From 2009–2011 she served as director of Policy Planning for the United States Department of State, the first woman to hold that position. Member School Highlight

Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs' program teaches its students how to approach today's policy challenges thoughtfully and analytically. The multidisciplinary course of study strikes a balance between theory and practice, reflected in its curriculum that widely varies in both topic and format.

The School's faculty are innovative researchers and policy experts who equip students with the analytical tools and in-depth knowledge needed to tackle important issues. In addition to the permanent faculty, the School provides students the opportunity to study under diplomats-in-residence, such as former U.S. ambassadors; four Nobel Prize-winning economists; and former high-level policymakers.

With approximately 200 graduate students enrolled across three graduate programs, students are offered a rigorous academic experience in a tight-knit, intimate community. They join a network of more than 4,000 alumni, faculty with high-level policy experience, and staff dedicated to their success.
