FCCWH April Update

Welcome to the FCCWH newsletter! As part of the updates to our church social media efforts we will now have a monthly email. The typical email will include highlights from the previous month, reminders about upcoming events, and information about about what's going on with different groups of the church. Much of the content will come from the social media posts, however we hope to reach people who may not frequent Facebook and other platforms; if you already follow us, it's a great opportunity to see all the information in one place!

If you do not want to receive these emails, just let us know, we'll be happy to remove you from the list.

Feel free to send anything regarding social media to this email - Does a committee that your on have an event coming up? Did you get some great pictures at a church activity that you'd like to share? Have any other suggestions or comments? Send it in, we'd love your input!

May Missions Update

The May Mission Emphasis will be CWS Blankets+. Church World Service (CWS) is a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster. For every $10 collected, a blanket is distributed to those in need. Visit our website to learn more about what your contribution can do.

This month the Giving Tree will collect socks to be made available to those that attend the meals served from the church throughout the week. New, clean socks are often one of the most in demand yet least donated items for many organizations that help those without permanent housing. Visit our website to learn more.
