Announcing a new funding opportunity for Oregon

Today, we're excited to announce that Meyer Memorial Trust invites proposals from nonprofits working in Oregon to dismantle disparities and advance equity in our Equitable Education, Healthy Environment and Housing Opportunities portfolios.

Meet Kaberi Banerjee Murthy, Meyer's Director of Program Strategy, and check out her blog about the $10.6 million available this annual funding opportunity, here.

  By invitation in 2019
The Building Community portfolio will invite organizations with a strong track record of work around systems change to apply for $2.5 million in grants this year. Portfolio director Dahnesh Medora and program associate Erin Dysart discuss what's behind the changes here.

  Sharpening the focus
The Equitable Education portfolio will award $3.6 million in grants through the 2019 AFO to eliminate predictable gaps and increase opportunity for priority students in Oregon’s public schools. Portfolio director Matt Morton writes about sharpening the focus here.
