The first Saturday in May is National Wildfire Preparedness Day!

There are many events in the week leading up to Wildfire Preparedness Day ranging from city-wide and open to everyone to community scale.
 

Citywide events:

• The Era of Megafires movie showing followed by a panel discussion at the Jean Cocteau Theater on Wednesday May 1^st at 6:00 pm. Tickets available online, click link above.
  • NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE!
• Santa Fe Wildfire Preparedness Day Open House - City of Santa Fe Office of Emergency Management on old College of Santa Fe campus, May 4^th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Workshop sessions include: 
  • Evacuation Preparedness
  • Prepare your home for wildfire
  • Simtable wildfire modeling demonstration
• Wildfires & Small Business Resiliency - Panel Discussion May 2^nd at 9:00 am at the Santa Fe Small Business Incubator. Please RSVP to wildfiremcstudy@illgetrightonitllc.com
