CAMP COLLEGE
Applications are now live for MACAC’s fifth annual Camp College! Students and mentors can apply today to be an important part of this year’s Camp College event at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona on July 15-17, 2019.
Camp College is designed for current high school juniors (graduating class of 2020) who would benefit from a college readiness program, mentorship and time on a college campus. The selection committee will give additional consideration to students from rural areas, first-generation college students and students from low-income households. Students break in small groups, attend interactive sessions, sleep and eat in the residence hall, and tour college campuses.  They also have a mentor – who is a college admission professional –  who is in touch through their senior year.  It’s not all business at Camp College - we have a lot of fun and many friendships have been made amongst the students.  It is amazing to watch students from across the state connect in such a short time.  It is free for students to attend!
Student and mentor applications are now available at…. http://www.mn-acac.org/CAMP-COLLEGE  Applications for both students and mentors are due on April 15.
