National Volunteer Week - April 7-13, 2019

Volunteering is an essential vehicle to help us tackle the Sustainable Goals Development. Volunteers contribute to eliminating poverty, advocating for human rights, protecting the planet and creating thriving and resilient communities, among many other things.

In line with this year's theme, let’s celebrate and recognize the exponential impact of volunteers and how they lift our communities! Celebrate the Volunteer Factor during National Volunteer Week April 7-13, 2019
On behalf of the PAVRO Board of Directors, we would like to thank you for all that you do as Volunteer Engagement Leaders. We want to hear from you and about how National Volunteer Week was celebrated at your organization. Share your favourite volunteer stories, photos from your events, or your recognition awards by tagging PAVRO at #PAVROVOLUNTEERWEEK on all social networks.
HAPPY NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK!

New Perspectives in Data Collection and Retention – Part Two

In Part One we looked at two reasons why you need to take a critical look at your current data collection processes.
  1. You owe it to your volunteers to ensure you are using up to date best practises in managing information about them.
  2. Trends suggest that this is going to be legislated so you might as well get started.
