April Watering Reminder
Below are the recommendations for watering your landscape plants and lawn if no rainfall occurs: overseeded cool season grass (rye) = every 4 days. Summer grass (Bermuda) = once every 7-10 days. Shrubs and trees on same valve = every 10 days (for higher water use plants) or every 20 days (for desert adapted plants). There are more recommendations on how often to irrigate other plant types. To determine how long, or how many minutes or hours, you should water for, visit this online resource.
