School Psychology Candidates Recruited at the National Association of School Psychology (NASP)
Thank you to those who supported in the recruitment of school psychologists at NASP.  We had a great deal of interest, several volunteers from administrative units and the Colorado Society of School Psychologists (CSSP,) and we screened 30 potential school psychology candidates.

The Colorado School Psychology Recruitment Google sheet includes information from interested candidates from NASP.  The yellow highlighted section contains their personal contact information, locations in Colorado they are interested in, and their experience. The green section highlights information for graduate students who will be looking for jobs for the 2019-20 school year. All sections include a filter, especially for Questions 9 and 10 that ask about interests in settings and regions. Feel free to reach out to these candidates to set up an interview for your district, school or AU! Please send questions to Londi Segler at segler_l@cde.state.co.us.

CSSP has redesigned its website and revamped its school psychology job board. You may post a position on the job board for free by contacting franci.cssp@gmail.com

Join BrainSTEPS Co.

Administrative Units are being encouraged to form a BrainSTEPS CO Brain Injury Consulting Team to manage students with all severities of brain injuries (including concussion) in their district/BOCES. This is a collaborative project between CDE's Health & Wellness Unit and ESSU. Initial training, materials, and ongoing training, consultation, and support will be provided at no cost to districts.

BrainSTEPS benefits everyone, once the district team understands the brain better – they have a better understanding of the needs of all learners. Click here for more information and to download the application or contact Heather Hotchkiss at hotchkiss_h@cde.state.co.us.
