SHASTA LAND TRUST
April eNEWS
THANK YOU FOR A GREAT KICKOFF
This year marked the 16th anniversary of the Wildways Kickoff! The celebration included delicious smoked BBQ, square dancing to traditional barn dance music, a photo booth, lawn games, raffle baskets, and exciting new auction items. The rain held up well and it was a memorable evening for all who attended!

We had a great turn out! With 150+ guests, 30 volunteers, and 49 local sponsors there were many people involved in creating a successful event. This level of involvement is what allows the Land Trust to continue important conservation work across Shasta County.

For those who attended, tell us what you thought about the event by clicking on the button below.

NATIONAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION MONTH

The Shasta Land Trust wouldn't be where it is today without the help from the many volunteers who have dedicated their time helping to complete various projects and tasks. From cleaning up trails, monitoring properties, helping with events, and assisting with office tasks, volunteers have helped build a foundation of success. Thank you!!
CONSERVATION LUNCH SERIES
Spring is here and now is the time to be thinking about establishing fire-resistant landscapes. Join us on April 17th from 12:00-1:00pm at the Shasta Land Trust office for our Conservation Lunch Series talk to hear from local experts and arborists from A-1 Tree Service & Stump Removal. Learn how to help restore the natural ecology in your own backyard! This is a free event so bring your lunch and questions.
CELEBRATING EARTH DAY
The Shasta Land Trust will be at the family friendly Whole Earth and Watershed Festival to discuss the important work we do with the public. Celebrate earth day with us by learning about the many organizations that work in the area.

Stop by our table and say hello!
