The students in CEMS have ranked LSM higher than ever in the competitive internal ranking. In 2019, LSM raises to a third place with excellent results for student services, course quality for block seminars, core courses, electives and skill seminars.
The inter-university “Philippe de Woot Award” is given every two years to promote Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Master's theses which constitute an original contribution to the understanding and thinking about CSR.
The deadline to address candidatures is set for Tuesday 01.10.19.
Discover our new Career Center for internship and job offers
Louvain School of Management has set up a new LSM Career Center in partnership with JobTeaser, an online service used by over 400 universities and colleges, and 5.000 companies.
Very user-friendly, it offers many career services to students and companies, including the publication of internship and job offers.

The 8th edition of the LSM Cup took place on 02.03.19. It is the biggest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Business Game in Europe, organised by LSM Conseil in cooperation with Belgian companies.

Gathered for the occasion at the Aula Magna in Louvain-la-Neuve, students had the opportunity to learn more about some of the HRM systems studied in the course as well as the human management strategy deployed.
On Friday 03.05.19, as part of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting and Marketing Strategy course (Prof. Valérie Swaen), LSM students had the opportunity to visit Solvay’s headquarters in Brussels.
Around the topic “Solvay today, Solvay tomorrow”, students were briefed about the company, its future campus and new ways of working.

Student international online collaboration across continents
As part of the Louvainternational year, students of Professor Caroline Ducarroz's marketing course (LSM) conducted a marketing study on youth behaviour on social media through an innovative pedagogical approach: 51 of our students and 32 students from The Appalachian State University (North Carolina, USA), divided into mixed groups, carried out their project by meeting virtually thanks to the new rooms of the Learning Center of the UCLouvain FUCaM Mons.

New Double Degree programme in Finance with Aix-Marseille Université

13th International Conference on Research Challenges in Information Science
The IEEE RCIS 2019, co-chaired by Prof. Jean Vanderdonckt and Manuel Kolp (LSM/LouRIM/CEMIS) and co-organized with KULeuven (Faculty of Economics and Business), will bring together scientists, researchers, engineers and practitioners from a wide range of information science fields and provide opportunities for knowledge sharing and scientific dissemination.
Valérie Swaen and Manuel Kolp, Prof. of the Doctoral Course Communication & Writing Skills, are organising the 2nd full day of research paper presentations and posters.
LSM Honorary Doctorate (DHC) / "Put human values at the center of the enterprise"
In order to highlight LSM's motto "Excellence and Ethics in Business", the faculty and its main two research institutes are organising an Honorary Doctorate ceremony (Doctor Honoris Causa). This event will be the opportunity to celebrate LSM’s 15th anniversary as a full faculty inside UCLouvain. The theme chosen is “Put human values at the center of the enterprise”. It will be approached through the various aspects of the involved entities.
