Coach Sarah and the ELM Team
Adventure Trail Running 1::3 - May 2 - June 20
"The four weeks of trail run clinic I did were SO AMAZING! I learned so many little things that helped me improve.

It was actually my first time running with a group, and I just loved it. Your ELM team was so inspiring. Crystal and Sarah V absolutely blew my mind with their energy and enthusiasm. Chris, too. It was SUCH a pleasure to get to know people while running the gorgeous trails. I could go on and on…"

Coaching article: Tapering

You did it.  You stepped up and committed to months and months of dedication to 'the plan'.  You went to bed early and slipped out of the house before anyone else was up.  You said no to the Saturday night pub crawl and all of your Sundays were spoken for.  They thought you may have lost your mind.  But you knew you had actually found it on the trail,  in the sunrises, and at the end of a long steady solo run.

Exercising While Pregnant: What you need to know

New evidence-based guideline outlines the right amount of physical activity women should get throughout pregnancy to promote maternal, fetal, and neonatal health.

Research shows the health benefits and safety of being active throughout pregnancy for both mother and baby. Physical activity is now seen as a critical part of a healthy pregnancy. Following the guideline can reduce the risk of pregnancy-related illnesses such as depression by at least 25%, and the risk of developing gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and preeclampsia by 40%.

Pregnant women should accumulate at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week over a minimum of three days per week; however, being active in a variety of ways every day is encouraged.
