Vendors

Learn about climate change impacts, solar energy, bicycle safety, healthy eating and protecting pollinators! Experience eco-shopping, recycled art, local food and much more. Some of our unique vendors include FattE-bikes who will let you try out an electric bicycle, Xcel who will be bringing a tiny home to tour, and Metro Denver Green Homes Tour will share how they turned their houses into sustainable homes and how you can too!

Try to visit as many as you can for a chance to win electric, cordless lawn equipment donated by Ace Hardware of Jewell Square.

Workshops and Demos

Sustainable Yard: The Sustainable Neighborhoods are back to host another Sustainable Yard, where attendees can learn about animal husbandry (and pet sheep and goats!), sign the pledge to make their yard bee and pollinator friendly, watch a demonstration on wool spinning and find out how to go zero waste at home.

Compost Workshop: Attend a free compost workshop led by the City of Lakewood's own Julie Elam, a certified master composter.
Fitness Classes: Join Lakewood Recreation instructors for a fun zumba class or fitness drums on the plaza.

Electric Vehicle Hub: If you're interested in electric vehicles, we'll have several on site for you to view and to learn how switching to electric can help reduce your carbon footprint and vehicle maintenance expenses.

Live Birds of Prey: Nature's Educators will bring live birds to act as animal ambassadors of wildlife conservation.

Beer Garden and Food Trucks

Enjoy delicious local beer at the beer garden, listen to live music and play yard games. This year we will feature beer from Avery Brewing, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, and Odell Brewing Co. All proceeds from the beer garden will go to Jovial Concepts, a local non-profit organization committed to community and environmental stewardship.

Grab a bite to eat from a Colorado-local food truck while you listen to the music and enjoy the beer garden. We'll have a range of delicious bites from Farmer in the Hive, the Real Deal Juices, and Tilford's Wood Fired Pizza.

Watch as artists from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design create an Earth Art installation during the event.

Visit the old school house at 1:30 p.m. for a wool spinning demonstration.

Head to the gazebo at 2 p.m. for a belly-dancing performance from participants in the Lakewood Cultural Center's dance program.
