Quick "hi" as we are preparing to load the plane this afternoon to fly to Grayling. Wet snow has been falling all night and morning, but the weather reports clearing this afternoon.
Spirits are high in Grayling as the men just finished a 4-day marathon cutting 504 trees (for house building), breakup is happening, goose hunting is in full swing, and a holiday is approaching.
Please pray for wisdom and opportunities to speak truth of the relevance of the resurrection as we plan for Sunday's service and interact with the Episcopal priest, who will also be coming out for a Saturday evening vigil, and she is also planning baptisms. We will conduct the Resurrection service Sunday morning, holding it in the tribal hall. A community meal is planned for the evening, and we will follow that by showing Risen.
Thanks to so many of you who have been praying for Dani. We're still waiting for answers but have been thankful she's been able to participate well in classes and the first few of the dozen or so performances between now and May 11. On Saturday, she'll be privileged to sing with the CCU choir at the Columbine memorial, a week after her 20th birthday.
Praying that this week finds you rejoicing and living in the strength of our risen Savior!
