A new micro-site for Baking Food Safety 101 provides easy access to videos, posters, infographics and other teaching aides for educators. Check out these great resources on our website.

Whole Grain Baking 101

What’s whole grain rich?  This new resource includes ancient grains, baking whole grain tips, gluten-free baking, whole grain gluten-free baking mix and recipes.

Spanish Language Resources



These five new resources provide English/Spanish versions for educators including recipe, lesson, tips and baking food safety!

National Festival of Breads

June 8 – Manhattan, KS



Mark your calendars to attend this day long baking festival! Four home baker finalists and four food blogger finalists will compete in the nation's only national amateur bread-baking competition.  Demonstrations, exhibits hands-on activities, free food samples, fun kids’ zone and the live baking competition make for a terrific fun filled day! It's Free!

The soil is turned and warming up for planting. Those soft spring rains may bring tulips and daffodils, but it shouldn’t surprise you our thoughts turn to what we can BAKE with all that’s sprouting— both in the garden and the store.
