Lake Laps
What did we see around Lake Estes?

Migrating birds.
Late April and early May are fantastic times to look for birds on Lake Estes. The lake is a popular resting spot for birds migrating up to North Park and beyond for the summer. In addition to American white pelicans, a large flock of gulls and a yellow legs, several flocks of White-faced ibis (pictured here) stopped for a bit.
