Hi <<First Name>>

The sun is shining again! Great to see all the bulbs flowering and plants popping up and coming back to life. The ginnell looks very pretty with all the wild flowers. The Gardening Group have done some lovely displays too in tubs and areas around the village.

We hope you all have a lovely Easter break. Pop in the Coffee Shop if you're around. Opening times are shown below, remember the Coffee Shop is closed on Easter Sunday.

Many of our activity groups are having a break too but there are some carrying on, see Activity Groups.

One in particular is the talk hosted by the Lancaster RSPB group group,on Wednesday 17th March at 7.30pm.  with a a well known and respected RSPB stalwart, Peter Holden MBE. Come and find out about bird migration, no booking required, just turn up. This is sure to be a popular talk so it is in the Main Hall this time,

We do get a lot of birdlife around here, it's been lovely to see and hear the birds again and I heard a bit of the dawn chorus rather early the other morning, as well as the evening songs. Down by the weir you might see a heron or a cormorant as well as the mallards and swans that regularly appear.
