New! Eliot Church Leaders to Be Honored: The International Institute of New England has been resettling refugees in Lowell, Massachusetts, for 100 years. To celebrate, they will honor 100 Lowell Leaders for outstanding service to and leadership of the immigrant community. Two people associated with Eliot Presbyterian Church are on the list: Elder Gordon Halm and former pastor Rev. David Malone. They will be honored at a dinner on Wednesday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Click here to see the list of 100 leaders and buy tickets.

Mission at the Eastward: The work of MATE was a focus of our March 25 Presbytery Meeting, with the worship offering supporting their work. They have gone through some changes and challenges, including the loss of leadership and financial support. They are in the process of revitalizing as well as expanding the areas they serve, looking for innovative ways to help with homelessness, transportation needs, and food insecurity.
