Touching people’s lives

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 11, 2019 11:33 am

Touching people's lives

If you want to be a positive force in people’s lives, you don’t need anyone’s acceptance or permission to do that. Nor do you have to follow anyone else’s standard on how to do it.

There will always be people critical of how you choose to make a positive difference in the world, but the fact is, those people are not your target. Your target is the one person whose life you make a little bit better by being a part of it. And after that person, it’s the next one.

And over time, you can touch many people’s lives in a positive way. And that is something you can do in any way you choose. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be you.

Newsletter: April 10, 2019

By Zero Dean Updates on Apr 10, 2019 04:51 pm

Ok, folks! Here’s the news some of you have been waiting for!

The Kindle edition of my book which regularly sells for $9.99 will be totally free — for one day only — on Wednesday, April 17th!

Set an alarm (or reminder) on your phone right now for April 17th. And then tell anyone you care about that my book will be free.

This is a $10 gift from me to you — or from you to anyone you care about. I want people who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to afford my book — or who wouldn’t otherwise know it exists — to have a chance to read it. Because that’s what authors want — READERS! And I poured my heart into this book with the hope it would provide value to people.

If you’re thinking, “I don’t own a Kindle device.”, you don’t have to! The Kindle app can be installed on any phone, tablet, or computer, too.

You might also be wondering how I’ll make any money if I give my book away for free? The truth is, I don’t. I don’t make a cent.

But one potential benefit I do get is more great reviews to help solidify the solid rating my book already has and more positive word of mouth that will hopefully lead to more book sales later.

And one final thing to observe is that the paperback edition is truly the ideal version of my book because it’s intended to be “dipped into”, but the ebook is a great introduction and has all the same information.

I’m hoping that those who love the ebook may actually want to help support my work by upgrading to the print edition. And that would be awesome.

One last thing, if you already own my book — and you enjoyed it — please take a moment to leave a review. I’d really, really, really appreciate it.

In summary:

My book will be free on Wednesday April 17th. Set a reminder or an alarm and tell everyone you care about (please). Text your friends. Call your family. Share this news on social media. Just help me let people know about this news. I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

I will actually have more cool news soon! If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel. If you like my book, you’re going to enjoy my youtube videos.

May the love you put into what you do always find its way back to you,
Zero Dean

Stand behind your work

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 10, 2019 09:10 am

Stand behind your work

If people want to appreciate you for something you’ve created – even if you see flaws in it – let them. It is entirely OK to be appreciated & recognized for the things you create even if you’re better now than you were when you created them.

Don’t disparage your work just because you can see flaws in it. If it’s obvious to you what you could have done better, that’s proof you’ve grown. And that’s something to be proud of. And if you created something that people admire, that’s something to be proud of, too.

Don’t deny yourself the recognition for previous accomplishments just because you’ve improved in the time since you accomplished them.

Your life vs disapproval

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 09, 2019 11:08 am

Your life vs disapproval
Not everyone is going to approve of what you choose to do or how you choose to live. And in today’s world, many are keen to let you know when they don’t. Fortunately, this will rarely have any impact on your life unless you choose to let it. Your life is yours to live, not theirs.

Accepting praise

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 09, 2019 09:10 am

Accepting praise

When you are being genuinely appreciated for something, accept it. And if you know you can improve upon what you are being appreciated for, don’t point it out. Just do it.

Everyone is a work-in-progress. That doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t allow ourselves to be appreciated for where we are on our journey.

Just because you’re not on top of the mountain doesn’t mean you can’t be appreciated for the things you’re doing to get there.

Being wrong is not a sign of weakness

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 08, 2019 11:33 am

Being wrong is not a sign of weakness

Everyone is prone to being wrong at one time or another. Being wrong is not a sign of weakness. Not being able to admit, acknowledge, or learn from your mistakes is.

Confident vs insecure

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 08, 2019 10:06 am

Confident vs insecure

One thing that separates the confident from the insecure is that confident people tend to acknowledge their mistakes, learn from them, and move on, whereas insecure people frequently do whatever they can to avoid admitting flaws & often seek ways blame their blunders on someone or something else.

Stay true to you

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 05, 2019 10:10 am

Stay true to you

Those who stay true to themselves don’t live their lives seeking other people’s approval. They live their lives based on their own heart’s desires and ultimately attract the kinds of people who genuinely appreciate them for it.

Weird is just another word for uncommon

By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on Apr 03, 2019 09:10 am

Weird is just another word for uncommon

Weird is just another word for uncommon. Being weird is not a bad thing. In fact, it can be one of the best things.

Understand that the majority of your power does not lie in the things that make you just like everyone else. Your power lies in the unique combination of things that make you, you.
