This quarter, let us take a moment to thank those that spend countless hours supporting the growth of Python. Volunteers are crucial to the success of our community and The Python Software Foundation relies on volunteer efforts to achieve many of its goals. Volunteers help maintain Python's code base, organize events, work on outreach and education, and so much more.

We'd like to highlight recent Community Service Awards that the PSF's blog team has published articles about:
If you know someone that deserves recognition through a Community Service Award, please nominate them.

PSF's 2019 Fundraiser News!

Our team has been working on our first fundraiser of the year. The fundraiser will launch May 2, 2019. Keep an eye out on twitter and our mailing lists for an announcement. Last year our fundraiser raised $22,000 and this year our goal is $60,000!

This year's fundraiser will feature:
  • Your choice of a limited edition Supporting Member pin or Sticker Set for those that sign up to auto-renew a PSF Supporting Membership or donate $100 or more during PyCon.
  • A sweet offer from JetBrains.
Donate to the PSF!
The Python Software Foundation would like to send a special thank you out to the Humble Bundle team. Through their donation programs, the PSF has received over $90,000 in donations in Q1 2019.

Thank you!
We are thrilled to have Microsoft as the Keystone Sponsor of PyCon 2019.
