Notification of NY Statewide Criminal Fee Increase
On Monday, April 1st, the New York Legislature passed their 2019-2020 State Budget. The budget includes an increase to NY Office of Court Administration searches from $65.00 to $95.00. The additional funds are planned for the indigent defense fund, various OCA programs and functions as in previous budgets.
This price increase is set to take effect 04/13/2019 12:00am EST. All NY Statewide Criminal Searches ordered after this date and time will reflect the new price increase.
SSC understands this is a significant fee increase for our customers and unfortunately we do not have influence over the rates set by the NY legislature.
