Celebration of Sisterhood!

We are looking forward to seeing all our Panhellenic sisters at the annual Celebration of Sisterhood! Please join us on May 4, 2019 at the Mesa County Club to celebrate our Woman of the Year Finalists and Scholarship Recipients.

The event begins at 10am with a social hour to network and check-out the incredible gift card raffle and will be followed by buffet luncheon at 11am. Council will present a Year In Review along with Committee Reports and installation of new officers.

Outstanding Philanthropies

WMPO UPDATE!

Waste Management Phoenix Open was an incredible success! With 544 concession shifts filled by a Panhellenic volunteers, we raised $39,077 to support scholarships for collegiate women in Arizona! Sisters, friends, and relatives came out to volunteer and had a great time on the Greenest Show On Grass! Special thanks to Philanthropy Chairs, Kim O'Brien and Gina Curtis for their leadership and enthusiasm! And shout out to Pi Beta Phi for the most volunteers this year! Mark your calendars! The 2020 WMPO will be held January 27 - February 2, 2020!

TEDDY BEAR DRIVE BRINGS SMILES!
With nearly 1,000 stuffed animals donated this year, Phoenix Panhellenic will help support the over 17,000 children in Arizona’s foster system through our partnership with A Mighty Change of Heart. This great organization provides personalized duffel bags filled with new clothes, shoes, hygiene items, toys, and books in an effort to provide the child with something they can truly call their own at a time when everything else in life may be borrowed or temporary. Thanks to Phoenix Panhellenic, almost 1,000 of those duffel bags will be filled with our donated bears (and other stuffed animals). Thanks to all that donated!

Scholarship Applications hit a high note!

Panhellenic Scholarship Winners at the 2018 Celebration of Sisterhood

What a year for scholarship applications! Fifty-two women completed a full application submission with every Arizona collegiate campus with a Panhellenic system was represented and nearly every sorority had at least one applicant. With so many great applicants, the Scholarship Committee led by Chair Christy Roberston Yoder, had a challenging time in determining the awardees.

May 4 Celebration of Sisterhood luncheon.

Phun Panhellenic Phact! In a recent NPC annual survey, responses show collegiate and alumnae members together donated more than $34 million for philanthropy activity and volunteered more than 2.4 million hours! Amazing!

Maybe a sister who was elected to an external organization’s leadership, had significant career honor, holding or running for elected political office, or winning a pageant? Phoenix Panhellenic wants to highlight them!
