1. Returning to El Salvador
A. Teaching Workshop 4 and Preaching Easter Sunday
Just a quick note to ask you to pray for my trip this week, April 15-23, to El Salvador. I will be teaching the fourth and final workshop in the "Growing in Grace" series for pastors and church leaders. And I have been invited to preach on Resurrection (Easter) Sunday in the Christian Reformed Church of Huizúcar located in the mountains an hour from the city.

B. Commissioning a new National Missionary Partner
Also, I will commission Helmuth Aguilar as our new National Missionary Partner to train pastors and church leaders in both El Salvador and Chile, and we will make plans for his upcoming workshops.

(Above) National Missionary Partner Helmuth Aguilar grew up in Chile and attended the Baptist Theological Seminary of Santiago, Chile. In recent years, he moved to El Salvador where he lives with his wife, Hilda. He assists in preaching, teaching and leading music for worship at the Reformed Church in Santa Tecla near the capital city of San Salvador. Helmuth has arranged to teach workshops for pastors in El Salvador and in three cities in Chile. He is now waiting on the Lord for funding. You can donate to his work here.

C. Meeting with Workbook Translators
Two of our workbook translators live in El Salvador. So I plan to meet with Vanessa (French translator) and Carolina (Spanish translator) to discuss their progress on the remainder of our workbooks. Carolina translated Workbook 4 and the Children's Ministry Workbook into Spanish last year. Vanessa has already completed the Children's Ministry Workbook and is nearly finished translating Workbooks 1 and 4 into French. Soon she will begin work on Workbooks 2 and 3. Most of our countries speak Spanish, but French is spoken in Haiti as well as in parts of the Dominican Republic and Brazil.
