Are we going to make it in time? Is this project worth it? What is it anyway? What's going to happen to it after Burning Man?

This project is in your hands now folks, you decide whether the Pegasus flies or not. All those who have procrastinated in pledging, now is the time.
All those who have been wondering about it, have you ever supported a Kickstarter project before? Are you a supporter of the Arts? Would you like to become one? Have you also checked out other Kickstarter projects? Comic books, reusable Q tips, 3D printers, all valid ideas, necessary things in life, but nothing like a Giant Metal Mechanical Pegasus that will gallop and fly in slow motion in the air, ON FIRE!!

This project is definitely worth it, it's a project of a lifetime. When will you get the chance to be part of a something like this again?
It will be seen by all 80,000 people at Burning Man, it will go viral on the internet all over the world, and it will continue to travel after BM all over the States and maybe even overseas, sparking the imagination of all children and the child within you.

The design and engineering of the Pegasus is finished and I'm ready to order parts. It has about 1500 parts that were all individually designed to be fit and welded together, about $15,000 worth of laser cutting steel and aluminum. That doesn't include the steel for the base and all the other parts I have to purchase. We need those funds!!!

Figuring out the power train and wings mechanism have been the biggest challenges. The wings extending out so far and having to moving require a huge amount of torque. Along with project contributor and mechanical engineer Tom West, we figured out to get a used golf cart DC motor to power everything, "if a golf cart can get four fat guys up a hill, then it should do the job". We also figured to get a used BMW rear axle differential gearbox to pivot the power 90 degrees to the wings. The wings will be made entirely of aluminum.
Structural engineer Benjamin Bohn is also giving us a huge helping hand in doing the structural calculations to ensure that the sculpture is sound even in high wind conditions.

It's time to start building, this project won't take no for an answer, it must MANIFEST, it must come to LIFE, the world must see it!!
Come see it at Burning Man 2019
