Trail Construction is Here.

Actually, it has been here for a couple of weeks now, as tree removal and ground clearing took place in mid-March.  Additional site prep is going on now, and full-scale work will begin soon. Additional details, such as what parts of the trail will be completed first, will be posted when we know it.

PLEASE keep in mind that this project involves both trail surfacing and the enhancement of eight roadway crossings, so while a segment of trail might look like it is completed, it really isn't until the signalized crossings are done as well. DO NOT enter any trail segment that has a "Trail Closed/Construction" sign posted.  We want to make the contractor's job as easy as possible, so they can get the trail done as soon as they can. Please do your part to ensure construction proceeds smoothly, on schedule and without any setbacks.

Trail Update

As a reminder, this project also involves a connection with the M-5 Metro Trail, and the end segment of that pathway (essentially anything north of Maple Road) remains closed until work is completed there.
