Women of Vision scholarships awarded to seven students

Flagler College’s Women of Vision Advisory Board recently awarded scholarships for the 2019 - 2020 academic year to seven female students. Brenna DeBlasio, Phaedra DeJarnette (pictured above, left and center) and Lindsay Giliam, Autumn Parker and Charlene Nowotny (pictured below) received the Women of Vision $3,000 scholarship. Morgan Hutchison (pictured above, far right) was selected as the Robin Cooper Women of Vision Scholar with an award of $5,000. The newly created scholarship honors the Women of Vision co-founder who passed away last fall. The winner must exemplify Robin Cooper’s legacy of generosity and genuine concern for others through community service and campus engagement. >Read More

Flagler College has partnered with Scott Lagasse Motorsports & Art 'n Motion to host an event to support the newly-established LEAD Fund scholarship for male students attending the college. As part of the scholarship, two students will be awarded $2,500 and be paired with a mentor to guide them successfully through college and their future careers. Financial Aid Message

Flagler students receiving institutional financial aid, from Fall 2019, must enroll in and attempt to complete 15 credits each semester until graduation. In exceptional circumstances a student may request permission to enroll in less than 15 credits. A waiver application must be obtained from, and completed and returned to, the Financial Aid Office. Institutional financial aid awards are renewable and provide a maximum of eight total semesters of funding. More information about eligibility and the appeal process for institutional funds was emailed to students on April 9.

Note from the Bookstore
