SAFS Newsletter, Spring 2019
SAFS President's Message

Greetings SAFS Membership,

Spring is officially here and I hope everyone is gearing up for a great 2019. Thank you to all the members that attended the annual meeting and fondue dinner back in February. Your support is appreciated.

The Spring 2019 newsletter is being distributed in a different format until we have the new SAFS website up and working. Board members Franziska Moran and Karl Freiburghaus are revising our website to make it more user friendly. Members will be able to view and print our newsletter, pay for events and register for events all at the new SAFS website. We hope to have the new website up and running for our Summer 2019 newsletter. Membership that has requested a hard copy of our newsletter will continue to get one.

This is also a special year for SAFS. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of SAFS in 1969. The SAFS board has a special 50th anniversary party planned for the club scheduled for September 22nd. Please check back for more details about event location and details in the near future.

Our next event is the popular SAFS Jass Tournament to be held on April 28th. Location and price is the same as last year. Please see this email for registration information and details about how to participate.

On May 10th, interested SAFS members can take a tour of Swiss airplane manufacturer Pilatus near Boulder. Please see the attached flyer and contact board member Barbara Fayeulle to RSVP.

Thanks for your continued support

Peter Brandner
SAFS President.
