Do your part in PRSSA SJSU's crowdfunding campaign at this week's workshop!

Join us this Tuesday for a crowdfunding workshop! We will be filming our introduction video, taking headshots of members, creating social media graphics and drafting content for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign. Please arrive at 4:30 p.m. if you are on the video team or being interviewed about your experience attending regionals or sharing your desire to go to nationals.
All chapter members are required to attend the headshot workshop between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

These are fun, but school appropriate headshots that will be used in our email campaigns, social media, and video highlights to increase visibility for crowdfunding.
The money raised from this crowdfunding campaign will help send PRSSA SJSU members who plan to attend PRSSA’s international national conference in San Diego this October. All members are encouraged to participate, and if you wish to attend the national conference and receive funding, you must participate.

The “New to the Beat, New to the Valley” panel will feature journalists who are either covering their tech beat for the first time or are new to living in the Silicon Valley. Panelists will reveal their first impressions, discuss the most important stories they’ve covered over the past year, share what they believe the top trends for 2019 will be and how their approach to storytelling has changed (or stayed the same).PRSSA will arrange travel as the date approaches.
