NY Times Writer Shares Climate Change Reporting Insights

Nathaniel Rich (above, left), whose groundbreaking "Losing Earth" climate change report appeared as a full issue of the New York Times Magazine last August, shared insights on global warming science and politics, as well as on new forms of storytelling, at a Pulitzer Center talk moderated by Prof. A. Adam Glenn (above, right) at Hunter's Roosevelt House on April 8. Check the Journalism program web site in the coming days for the full story of his visit.

2019 Nation Student Journalism Conference

On May 31, 2019, The New School is hosting a conference for student journalists, bringing together the next generation of independent journalists in an intimate setting to learn more about social movements and how journalists can better cover them.​ All applications will be acknowledged and considered on a rolling basis until Monday, April 21Find out more about the conference and how to apply.
