It might still be snowing here in Maine,  BUT that has definitely not dampened our oyster loving spirits!  As farms continue to awaken from their long winter slumbers we continue to prepare for the 1st annual  Spring Slurp Fest 2019!!

There is going to be a lot of oyster awesomeness going on here at MOC headquarters staring Fri, April 26th & lasting all weekend long. Shucking class demonstrations, daily prize giveaways including farm tours & oysters along with the start of Slurp Madness & your chance to be crowned the fastest slurper in Maine!!!

Then before the dust settles get ready for "Do What's Right Sip & Shuck." A 5 event series in partnership with Maine Beer Company to celebrate their 10 year anniversary along with sharing the story of the oyster.  Sip & Shuck your way along the coast as we present 4 regional themed oyster nights that will conclude with a pop up oyster festival on Saturday June 8th at Maine Beer Company's new tasting room in Freeport...view all the details here.

MOC Headquarters Updates & Upgrades
New seats at the bar, outdoor space, greater beers/wine selection & a new menu that now includes fresh scallop ceviche, a roasted beet/goat cheese salad & homemade blueberry pies!  We are also now open all day Saturday  from 11 to 9 & Sunday's starting April 28th we will be open 11 to 4.

Our journey & experience truly continues to be built on community & camaraderie.  Anything worth doing is largely worth it because of the people you build, share & experience it with.  A sincere thank you to our growing family.
