El Uno is a relatively easy cuban salsa casino move. From a guapea, the lead switches hands – so with the right hand, the lead takes the follows’ right hand, and then walks around the follows right side to stand behind the follow. The partners then in a criss-cross pattern, turning to make eye contact and in the second half of each 2-bar phrase/8 count. When the lead is ready to end the move, the lead will raise the follows right hand over the follows head, and then lower all hands down between the two partners, and then finally raises them back up behind the shoulders as one would do at the end of a sombrero. The description once again probably does the move little justice, but the videos should be fairly clear.
