Hello Fellow Steeheaders
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Lake Michigan Coho Blast, the weather was perfect and the fishing was great. Glad to see new members out enjoying the camaraderie of club members. We were not so lucky for the trip swap the weather was bad and our half of the trip swap got canceled going over to the Detroit River. May 4th they are coming over here and we hope everything goes super. Milt Bennet and Ken Holcomb will help me with the fish boil.
This Month also is the Lake Michigan Spring Tournament at Benton Harbor May 18th lets get out and Fish. Also the very popular Connie McGowan Tournament on Lake Erie May 31st and June 1st.
This month's Guest Speakers will be 3 people talking about the Consent Degree with the Tribes Tony Radjenovich, Chairperson for the coalition. Chris Patterson Attorney, and Jim Dexter Chief of Fisheries for D.N.R. Talking about how important it is to support the Tribal Negotiations. Please Plan to attend. Our Executive Director will be there and President of the Steelheaders.
