We wish you a safe journey as you make your way to Miami! Included below is a lot of important information, so make sure to read it thoroughly. Do NOT pack these items in your checked luggage. Keep them in your hand until you're on the ship.
- Your printed Norwegian e-Docs. Show these with your identification at the Port of Miami
- Your PASSPORT OR a certified copy of your BIRTH CERTIFICATE & valid PHOTO ID (US Citizens only). Don't forget your approved travel documentation or you cannot board. We REALLY mean it.

We will make multiple ship announcements over the loudspeaker throughout each day. Be sure to listen for the "bing-bong" sound. That means an important message is headed your way!
Remember, the schedule could change at any time. We will communicate any schedule updates with a ship announcement, updates on sixthman.net/today (info below), and on signs next to elevator banks. The very BEST way to keep up with announcements, schedule changes, and daily highlights is to follow along at sixthman.net/today. This website is free to use when connected to the ship's Wi-Fi (NCL_Internet_Jade) and has the following features:
- See the most up-to-date schedule of events
- Review your personalized "My Schedule"
- Catch up on the latest onboard announcements (If you didn't hear us on the loudspeaker you can read the update here!)
- Send us a question using the Ask Sixthman feature

Before we set sail, download Norwegian Cruise Line's new app, Cruise Norwegian (replacing their former iConcierge app). With the new app, you can check your onboard spending account, make dining and excursion reservations, access your e-Docs (if you don't want to print them), and more! The app also has a messaging feature* to keep in touch with fellow cruisers.

As soon as you step on the ship, we'll become one big Runaway to Paradise family! Read on for a few tips about respecting each other and the ship. Click each link below to review this information and you'll be ready to rock!
GRATUITIES: A fixed service charge (gratuity) of $14.50 per person per day for interiors, oceanviews, balconies, and mini-suites and $17.50 per person per day for suites will be applied to your onboard spending account. By booking your stateroom, you agreed to pay these minimum service gratuities. Click here for more details. In addition, a 20% gratuity will apply to any onboard beverage purchase including beverage packages.
TAXES: Local sales tax (7%) is applied to all onboard bar and food purchases (including drinks redeemed through beverage packages) until we reach 9 nautical miles from the coast (approximately 1.5 hours after we set sail).

Throughout your vacation you will receive several cabin deliveries -- mostly fun stuff left by your cabin steward when he/she completes turn down service in the evening. If you have your cabin wheel turned to "Do Not Disturb," they cannot enter the room and you will NOT receive your deliveries.
If you want to sleep in, or you're taking a break and you really do want DND up, by all means, use it. But please remember to change it back each time leave the room. Otherwise, you will miss out on some cool stuff.

The weather is looking warm and there is no need to abide by any dress code during our Runaway to Paradise. Pack light and comfortable clothing, and be sure to include at least one pair of pants and a light jacket. Sometimes the ship gets chilly at night. If you need a little guidance on what to bring, Sixthman has created a packing list for you.

We're excited to offer our new Quick Dining Experience! We know it can be challenging to find time to dine with our busy cruise schedule, so we're turning dining into a quicker, easier experience. Please note that this option is limited to six guests per table.
HOW IT WORKS:
- The Quick Dining Experience is available at the following restaurants:
- Cagney's Steakhouse - Deck 13, MID
- La Cucina (Italian) - Deck 12, AFT
- Jasmine Garden (Asian) - Deck 7, MID
- Let the host know that you would like the Quick Dining Experience
- Your server will provide a special paper menu to note your selections. You'll have the option to receive all menu items at the same time or one dish at a time.
- When your meal arrives, your server will bring your bill to allow you to get back to the music as soon as you finish eating!
