Andrew Moore in Concert

Our church’s choir director, Andrew Moore, will singing the Defiant Verdi Requiem with the Cor Cantiamo Choir on April 28th at 3PM at the School of Music of Northern Illinois University (NIU Music Building, Boutell Memorial Concert Hall, 550 Lucinda Ave, DeKalb, IL 60115).

Adult Forum: Populism and Brexit

This Sunday, April 14th following worship, Kirk Samson, owner of Samson Atlantic which helps North American businesses launch in Europe, will speak on how populism in Europe is a global concern. Within this frame, he will touch on media manipulation, immigration, economic stress, and how deliberate government policies (e.g. Turkey, Russia, Hungary, Brexit in the UK) are ramping up the threat of populism in Europe and tearing at the foundations of Transatlantic peace. Finally, Kirk is also an expert on international news and will discuss the importance of Americans remaining abreast of foreign affairs. This will be a very thought-provoking discussion not to be missed!

Grief
  • Dorothy Fosse, a long-time member of our church, passed away at the age of 99 at Sunrise of Highland Park this past Monday afternoon. Her memorial service will be held at the church sometime during the next two months. Details will be released once available. Please pray for Dorothy's family as they grieve her passing and celebrate her life!
