A wonderful evening was experienced by the many people who attended the Stan Hodgson; A Restrospective opening reception last Thursday.  The show ends Wednesday, April 17th.

Painting Bold Water Scenes Using Acrylic
with Pauline Dueck

This workshop will cover the basics of choosing a pleasing water composition and the process for painting it using acrylics.  Learn techniques using paint and glazes to create effective water, waves, light reflection, foam and sand.  More....
Special Interest
This artist paints on people's bodies to change them into trippy works of 2D art.

Alexa Meade's work is instantly recognizable: the subject of her paintings are the paintings.  Meade, a Washington C.C. native based out of Los Angeles paints directly onto people's skin so that their three dimensional bodies actually look like 2D works of art.  Read more...
