Standby for Chimera Company.

It’s finally here…

(Well, sort of).

The launch issue of Chimera Company will go out on April 30th.

It’s later than I’d planned, but I put in a few more weeks of tuning to get it up to maximum thrill-power, which has to be a good thing.

You can pre-order it now. In fact, you can pre-order the entire season. Unless, that is, you want to borrow it through Kindle Unlimited, in which case you have to wait until each issue is released. Or you get your books from Amazon India, which doesn’t allow pre-orders for some reason. Sorry.

I’m so excited that I just wanted to tell everyone. We haven’t done any competitions for a while, so we’ll do some pre-launch competition fun and games for the next issue of the Bulletin.

Audio… audio

I’d hoped by now to give you a proper welcome to Walt Robillard, our voice actor for the Chimera Company and missing Human Legion audiobooks. Unfortunately, he’s had some nasty mouth trauma for a little while. Not nice, but Walt’s on the mend now, and I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing him a speedy recovery. If you’re curious to hear what he sounds like, here he is on his comic book podcast earlier today  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vwji0KAgDDA. Walt’s the one with the swords! We’re all eager to press on and get some audio goodness heading your way.

A Short History of Very Interesting Stuff

I realize I have been remiss in explaining how my books fit together. What we need is a timeline (When I say ‘I realize’, I mean fine people keep pointing it out to me until my mulish head finally takes notice). I’m going to do a fancy graphical one with book covers and years and the like, but today I put a text list of most of my books up on Amazon. It takes forever to do this, and for the moment, the only way to see that is by clicking the Issue #1 pre-order link above.

Things to read now

More on competitions, audio, bonus extras, and new projects next time. But since you can’t actually read Issue #1 just yet, you can always grab a free download of the Lord Khallini prequel at the Androids & Aliens promotion live at ProlificWorks. The Lord Khallini story has a wild steampunky Bronze Age helmet on the cover. I liked the image so much that I wrote it into the Chimera Company story, where it’s worn by a character called Vetch Arunsen.

There are plenty of other great authors offering books in Androids & Aliens, not least one by Kevin McLaughlin. I met him once. Nice bloke.

That’s it for this issue of the Legion Bulletin. I've removed the links I used to add here for the starter library, but you can access them all online in one place here. Thank you for your support.

Enjoy your adventure,

Tim.
